Job Description:

The UF Upward Bound Math and Science Program is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the team as an OPS Tutor. In this role, you will provide academic support and instruction to students in a dynamic educational setting.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to students in need of academic support. Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Use various instructional strategies and technologies to engage students and promote active learning. Monitor students' progress and make changes to instruction as needed. Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure seamless support and communication. Maintain accurate records of student progress. Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and developments in education best practices. Expected Salary:

$13/hour

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma required Successful experience in providing instruction and/or instructional support in an educational setting Preferred Qualifications: Strong academic performance, particularly in math and science Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and staff Previous experience as a tutor or mentor, either through a school program or community organization Availability to work flexible hours Special Instructions to Applicants:
