This is a two year contract position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
For the position of tutor, the following requirements are necessary: An undergraduate degree in Audiology or Speech Language Pathology and Audiology A Masters degree in Audiology or a related discipline Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as an Audiologist or Speech Therapist and Audiologist A minimum of two years clinical experience in Audiology. A firm interest and knowledge of Simulations in Audiology would be preferred. A track record of publication of prior research and conference presentations would be an advantage Track record of competent teaching and/or clinical supervision preferred Record of service an advantage

This post will be filled at the level of a tutor. Preference will be given to applicants who hold a PhD qualification. In addition, preference will be given to applicants who have clinical and/or teaching and/or research experience in Simulations in Audiology.
DUTIES: These will include: (a) coordination and management of the Simulation Laboratory in Audiology(b) clinical supervision of students in the under-graduate programme; (c) research supervision at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; and (d) administrative duties in the Department and School (e) a possibility of lecturing under-graduate courses in Audiology related to clinical practice.
