Position: Turnaround Maintenance Scheduler
Department: Production – Maintenance Turnaround Team
Location: Kitimat, BC
Reports to: Turnaround/Campaign Maintenance Manager

Key Responsibilities
General Duties Develop and maintain the Maintenance Annual Plan (Preventative, Corrective, Opportune, and Campaign work). Lead schedule creation and maintenance for Maintenance Campaigns and Turnaround events. Act as the Primavera focal point for the site. Train and mentor Planners and Schedulers; ensure competency in scheduling tools. Work approximately 60% with Primavera P6 and 40% with SAP. During Commissioning, Startup, and Ramp-Up (CSURU): Collaborate with Planners and CMMS Lead to complete and update the CMMS database. Develop detailed schedules for initial Turnaround events. During Operate Phase: Serve as the process owner for scheduling functions and documents. Develop detailed activity schedules, logical work networks, and critical paths. Prepare daily/weekly shift schedules at activity and resource levels. Track and report progress on a daily or weekly basis. Maintain proper security profiles for scheduling files. Support campaign maintenance and turnaround scope, integrating all disciplines.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience 10+ years of scheduling experience in a refinery or petrochemical plant. 5–10 years of experience with Primavera (advanced level). 3–5 years in a Maintenance Planning role. Familiarity with maintenance execution planning and SAP Blueprint. Experience in scope management, turnaround execution, and data management. Skills Primavera and strong skills in SAP, Excel, Power BI, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Education Post-secondary education in technical discipline or journeyperson certification in an industrial trade (or equivalent experience). Additional Information Location: Must be in or willing to relocate to the District of Stikine (Kitimat/Terrace). Relocation Support: Full relocation support provided, including third-party relocation services and potential home purchase/renovation assistance. Work Schedule: Typical: Monday–Friday, 8–10 hours/day. During events: Extended hours and potential shift changes (e.g., 6/1, 12/2, 18/3). Approx. 50 hours/week expected in 2025 during the commissioning/startup phase. Travel: Occasional travel between Kitimat and Calgary may be required.
