STV currently has an opening in our New York City office for a Tunneling & Geotechnical CADD Manager in our Centers of Excellence division. In this position as a CADD Manager, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a team of engineers and designers on multiple projects for the Tunneling and Geotechnical division. Job Summary:
The Tunneling & Geotechnical CADD Manager is responsible for overseeing the drafting and design of tunneling, geotechnical and underground structures engineering plans and drawings using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software. The individual in this role will manage a team of designers and drafters to ensure that projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner. The CADD Manager will also be responsible for maintaining project documentation, coordinating with engineers and other project team members, and ensuring that quality control procedures are followed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field. 7+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering design and drafting, with a focus on CADD. Proficiency in CADD software, such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar programs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a team of designers and drafters, and to work effectively with project engineers and other team members. Knowledge or past experience with tunneling, underground structures and geotechnical engineering projects including understanding of basic geotechnical principles, including soil mechanics, foundation design, and earth retention systems. Familiarity with industry standards, regulations and client/agency requirements related to geotechnical engineering design and drafting.STV is committed to paying all its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
