Job Description Faststream is seeking an experienced Tug Mate to work in port of Dover. Candidate will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of the vessels in the port.

6 Months fixed term contract, week on/off rotation with 40 working hours per week.

Requirements:
Minimum of STCW II/3 OOW unlimited Previous experience as a Tug Mate or similar position in the maritime industry Valid ENG 1 certificate Proficient understanding of navigation, vessel handling, and towing operations Good Knowledge of the ISM code Understanding of Health and Safety as applicable to Merchant Shipping General sea going experience as a watch keeping officer Experience operating Azimuthing Stern Drive tugs (desirable) Due to the nature of this role, you must either live within 3 hours travelling distance from the Port of Dover or be willing to stay locally in the company provided accommodation
