Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Senior Network Architect to join one of our clients in Virginia Beach, Va. This position would be onsite at Dam Neck. As the Network Architect, you will have the opportunity to play a critical role in designing and implementing cutting-edge network solutions. They will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network, enabling us to deliver exceptional services to our customers worldwide. Must have experience in the below:  Network Design and Architecture: Develop and maintain network architecture, standards, and guidelines to support current and future business needs.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design scalable, secure, and high-performance network solutions.  Network Security: Implement and manage network security including ports, protocols and services, policies, and best practices to safeguard the organization's data and infrastructure.  Routing and Switching: Design and optimize network routing and switching protocols to ensure seamless data flow and minimal downtime.  Network Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze network performance, identify bottlenecks and come up with strategies to optimize network efficiency.  Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, network implementation process, setting deployment schedules, participate in the configuration change process, and the planning and management of the entire system life cycle to include hardware and software solutions. Compensation: $90/hr- $120/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Skills and Requirements Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance.  15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years of experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.  Experience or knowledge with the following: Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), MPLS, OSPF, Network Security, VMWare, Nexus, Architecture, Active Directory, Network Solutions, Network Infrastructure, SME, Juniper, Layer 3, IDS, QoS, Palo Alto, VoIP, Linux, LAN, Load Balancer, AAA, IPSec, Radius/TACACS+, TCP/IP, HSRP, VRRP, CCNA, CCNP, vSAN, Servers, Technical Support, Visio, Setup, Capacity Planning, Disaster Recovery, SNMP, and VLANs.  Security+ and CCNA (CCNP Preferred).
