**Please review the following job description:**
Perform, monitor and reconcile standard operating functions within a high volume environment related to cash accounting, specialized asset accounting, fee and revenue accounting, client report generation and regulatory and management reporting. Utilize prescribed policies, procedures and task lists to efficiently execute upon responsibilities, promote necessary controls, mitigate operational risk and identify production issues that must be escalated for review and remediation.
Responsible for the administration and coordination of accruals within the Truist Wealth Management Fiduciary Operations Team. Continuously monitors and controls the operating revenues to ensure proper alignment with lines of businesses, including managing the financial placement of income. Assists in the development of technology needs for the department and is responsible for testing and implementing new technology with assistance of the IT department.
+ Oversees the processing of Truist Wealth accruals, along with other associated banking activities to ensure accuracy, accountability and proper procedures are followed.
+ Manages and develops accrual validation to control processes and minimize risk.
+ Works to ensure that our fee computations are aligned with our accruals, while also supporting SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) objectives and controls.
+ Communicate with management, LOB managers, and financial and accounting managers to support the completion of the monthly revenue for Truist Wealth.
+ Collaborates with teams of other units to develop best practices for successful aligning financial accounting data.
+ Manages Access databases to support accrual processing. Databases are used in conjunction with regulatory requirements.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Required Qualifications:

+ Associates degree or higher.
+ Established accounting knowledge with an emphasis on cash flow and accrual accounting and reconciliation concepts.
+ Effective communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
+ Intermediate PC skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office products
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Minimum 3 years of experience within bank Trust/Wealth Operations
+ Experience with FIS and/or SEI accounting applications
+ Knowledge of common banking systems and trust service platforms.
+ Strong cross-functional experience in finance, accounting, and technology.
+ Microsoft Office with intermediate skills in both Access and Excel
+ Proven problem solving, quantitative, and analytical skills; strategic thinking
+ Ability to understand maintain and create financial reports.
