Truck Specialty Center Supervisor
Position Overview International has an exciting opportunity for a Truck Specialty Center Supervisor in the Truck Specialty Center at San Antonio Manufacturing Plant. The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor will be the primary resource for establishing technical expertise on the principles of Lean Manufacturing. Position will work directly with appropriate disciplines within the facilities and corporate supporting teams to provide operational effectiveness/efficiency solutions in several key areas i.e. Process Capability, Absenteeism/Workmanship, Facilities/Tooling/Materials. The Truck Specialty Center Supervisor will report to End Flow and Truck Specialty Center Manager. This position will oversee between 30-60 employees. The schedule is Monday – Thursday 5:30am – 4pm, Fridays and Saturdays as needed. Responsibilities Ensures all safety and quality policies and standards defined by Management are met or exceeded on the shop floor. Directs the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives Prioritizes production schedules based on pilot introduction, equipment efficiency, labor constrains and material availability. Evaluate production efficiency. Makes budgetary recommendations and may control capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function Strive for respect and facilitate teamwork in the department and throughout the assembly facility Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree At least 3 years truck manufacturing/production, operations management, sales, engineering or service experience OR Master’s degree At least 1 year truck manufacturing/production, operations management, sales, engineering or service experience OR At least 5 years truck manufacturing/production, operations management, sales, engineering or service experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
