Job Description

One of our JSE listed clients seek a Treasury Support to join their team. This role will work closely with the Treasury Manager and facilitate the group of companies’ financial markets requests to the treasury team. The role calls for someone who has written their RE5 exam and who has ideally worked as and is an FSCA registered representative, although candidates under supervision will also be considered. This is an essential to this front office treasury support role, working with this group's companies ensuring their treasury requirements are well supported. This is a permanent half-day position based in Cape Town, with flexibility to be a hybrid. 

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions Daily liaison with financial institutions, enabling companies to buy / sell / invest in financial products to the advantage of the business Daily transactions administration Daily and monthly market data distribution Treasury system inputs, interest recons and reporting Assist with FICA process

Requirements:

Minimum of a completed tertiary qualification Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant role within financial markets Registered with FSCA as a registered representative no longer under supervision for Cat1 is preferred, but training and supervision can be offered Strong base of financial market and Cat1 products required Excellent relationship building skills High attention to detail Excellent eye for detail Ability to problem solve and work well under pressure Good team player
