We are looking for a Treasury Assistant to join the team that are responsible for reconciling bank statements, recording payments and receipts on a number of client accounts.

What will you be doing:
Recording and processing of daily bank receipts from account statementsReceive, record and processing cheque receipts for all clientsPreparing and posting journals for receipts in relevant systemsUpdating the member records with receipts in relevant systemsLiaising with Finance and Pension Operation TeamsEnsure that all FCA CASS operational processes and controls are carried out on a timely basisPrepare client treasury reports and reconciliations as requiredProcess complaints at the earliest opportunity with a positive attitude, addressing the true root cause and implementing effective corrective action in order to prevent re-occurrenceIdentify and report risks and breaches immediately to your line manager and/or the Operational Risk and Compliance DepartmentWhat are we looking for:

Accounting KnowledgeCan demonstrate interpretation of bank statementsExperience of Accounting software packagesExperience of working in an accounts departmentCommunication skillsUse of Outlook and Word for writing letters and emailExcel skillsAble to sort, filter and organise data and produce easily readable spreadsheetsDesirable
