You will assist the Scheme Operations Treasury Manager in providing the Scheme Finance Treasury Service to our clients, Scheme Finance Team and Pension Operation Teams.

Job Description:

Key responsibilities

As directed by the Treasury Operations Manager the processing of accounting and treasury transactions to update the accounting and treasury records for client accountsProvide scheme finance and accounting reports as requested by Treasury Operations Manager, Scheme Finance and Scheme Accountants

Key tasks   

Recording and processing of daily bank receipts from account statementsReceive, record and processing cheque receipts for all clientsPreparing and posting journals for receipts in relevant systemsUpdating the member records with receipts in relevant systemsLiaising with Finance and Pension Operation TeamsPrepare client treasury reports and reconciliations as requiredProcess complaints at the earliest opportunity with a positive attitude, addressing the true root cause and implementing effective corrective action in order to prevent re-occurrence

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Essential

Experience of accounting software packagesExperience of working in an accounts departmentBank reconciliationsExcel - able to sort, filter and organise data and produce easily readable spreadsheetsEnsure that all data is accurately processed particularly in relation to payment of monies

Desirable

Understanding the various types of pension schemes and terminologyExperience of working in a Treasury team
