Job Summary:     Responsible for supporting day-to-day operations of Foreign Exchange products.

Job Description:

Process Foreign Exchange Interbank trades in the core banking system.

Confirmation and verification of trade details with customers using 3rd party matching platforms FXAll, Mysis, GTSS and Bloomberg CMS.

Monitor street side electronic trade detail matching system CLS (Continue Link Settlement) and the in-house electronic trade detail matching system TRAM.

Resolve trade detail discrepancies on trades executed across multiple trading desks within the bank and/or external counterparties.

Ensure accurate payments and prepare manual entries in the core banking system.

Prepare various reports for daily management review.

Workflow Management:

Confirm Corporate FX Deal – Phone, Email, FXALL, Finastra (formerly known as MISYS), Bloomberg CMS and Trade Nexus (formerly known as GTSS) systems.

Confirm and Monitor Interbank Deals via CLS, Broker and Reuters.

FX Operations- Assist in Data Verification of all FX Deals done by Trading Desk.

FX Settlements – Gross, Netting, Splits, NDF, Drawdowns and DCA accounts.

Payments- Create and Verify Fed & Chips funds transfers and International Swift payments (MT103, MT202 & MT103&202cov).

MTS OVS Reconciliation Report- Investigation and reconciliation of discrepancy between the Front Office booking system (MTS) and Core Banking back-office system (OVS).

Non-receipt of Funds- Reconciliation of missing funds at end of day.

Reports- Daily end of day closing reports, monthly and volume reports.

Customer Setup- Checking new customer set up.

SOX- Checking monthly SOX testing requirements.

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail.

Must be able to effectively time manage and prioritize responsibilities.

Strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and in written form).

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to quickly adapt to change and work in a deadline-oriented environment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree majoring in Business or Finance required.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $65K - $85K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
