Treasury Analytics, Senior Associate

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Associate for our Treasury Analytics team within the Consumer & Community Bank. This dynamic role offers the chance to lead in Treasury Analytics, focusing on the analysis of the bank's liquidity characteristics and enhancing valuation frameworks across the bank's balance sheet, especially the firm’s $1T+ in retail deposit balances. The role requires independent problem-solving skills, the ability to build relationships, and provides direct exposure to senior business leaders who shape the bank's balance sheet strategy.

As a Treasury Analytics, Senior Associate within the Treasury Analytics team at JPMorgan Chase's Consumer & Community Bank, you will be at the forefront of promoting our asset-liability management and valuation framework. You will have the opportunity to independently solve ambiguous problems and forge relationships across the firm, generating lasting impacts beyond your direct scope of influence. This role offers a fast-paced environment with direct exposure to senior business leaders, providing you with the opportunity to refine balance sheet strategy and assess market and macroeconomic impacts.

Job responsibilities:

Designing and executing financial analyses to guide business decisions; preparing data; ensuring accuracy and integrity of data and results Delivering high quality, well-structured written presentations to senior audiences; clearly communicating the team’s work to both senior and junior colleagues with finance and non-finance backgrounds Proactively building relationships and influencing colleagues at all levels; serving as an internal consultant to help solve some of the biggest challenges across CCB; leading disparate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals Leveraging dashboards and other automation tools to reduce errors and increase processing speed

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

4+ years of full-time work experience, ideally in finance, investment banking, consulting or strategy  Proven ability to deal with ambiguous problems, leveraging core financial principles to create viable and innovative solutions Solid understanding of corporate finance concepts including: capital budgeting, DCF, residual income, cost of capital, IRR, and ROE Ability to approach problems methodically, structuring analyses and spreadsheets in an easy to follow manner for individuals unfamiliar with the analysis Demonstrated ability to pick up complex concepts quickly, analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written), and work well in cross-functional teams Quantitatively focused undergraduate and/or graduate degree or other demonstrated quantitative and analytical ability Relevant knowledge in at least one of the team’s key content areas (e.g., capital, liquidity, or interest rate risk management, corporate finance, loan or deposit pricing) Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
