Treasury Manager

Your role and responsibilities

You will be a member of the team that manages ABB’s Cash Management structures and optimizes cash flows and liquidity by executing strategic funding operations across all European and global Holding entities. You will be responsible for overseeing daily treasury activities, including liquidity management, cash pooling, intercompany transactions, and high-value, high urgency financial transactions. This is a high-impact role that services all of ABB’s divisions in Europe, via best-in-class Cash Management structures, including our In-House bank that pays, collects, receives on behalf of local entities. Your activities will include:Liquidity & Funding Management•\tOversee liquidity for all European & Holding entities, managing both restricted and non-pooled accounts.•\tEnsure optimal daily cash positioning through strategic funding transactions (FX Spot Deals, Money Market, In-House Bank).•\tMonitor and adapt short-term financing strategies based on evolving business needs.•\tExecute cash centralization processes, ensuring efficient movement of funds within the Group.In-House Bank Operations•\tManaging the In-House Bank’s daily Payments, Collections, Receipts on behalf of local ABB entities •\tDaily global cash flow monitoring to ensure seamless liquidity release.•\tMaintain and optimize In-House Bank structures (cash allocation rules, interest rates, entity participation).•\tOversee cash pool management, including disposition for investments and participant monitoring.High Value, High Urgency Payments•\tManage intercompany header accounts and oversee netting processes.•\tRegularly execute high-value transactions such as M&A closings, dividend payments to all shareholders, and capital injections.•\tEnsure liquidity is available for share buybacks and other critical financial operations.Governance & Internal Controls•\tPerform bank account reconciliations vs. internal records.•\tManage E-Banking portal access and maintain strong security controls. Qualifications for the role

\tUniversity degree (Bachelor) in Finance, Banking or Accounting.\tFurther professional qualifications (CTP or ACT) is a plus\tAt least 2 years of professional experience in treasury function of a global company including currency exposure management, cash management, risk management, and financial analysis.\tA fundamental understanding of cash and liquidity management operations such as cash pools, in-house bank and Inter Company Netting.\tSolid background in payments infrastructure.\tAdequate analytical skills.\tAbility to effectively adhere to strict deadliness\tTeam Player, proactive mind-set, adaptable to dynamic multicultural environment.\tStrong communication skills.\tFluent in English, other languages are a plus.
