Treasury Analyst
Treasury Analyst Department: Finance Employment Type: Full Time Location: Itasca, IL Reporting To: Mauricio Lopez Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 / two weeks Description We are looking for a Treasury Analyst to provide strategic support for our corporate treasury and risk management functions. This position will be responsible for supporting cash management, providing forecasting and reporting, and playing a crucial role in the execution of foreign exchange transactions. This position will also support debt management and perform other treasury functions to optimize our financial operations and mitigate risks. This position requires exceptional analytical abilities, a comprehensive understanding of financial principles, and strong collaborative skills to work effectively across departments and with our banking partners. Key Responsibilities · Cash Optimization: Identify and prioritize excess cash, manage cash pools, and collaborate with tax and accounting for balance strategies. Contribute to overall cash management strategy for the domestic and international business. Daily monitoring and reconciliation of bank transaction activity. Support short-term cash forecasting. · Bank Account Management: Lead bank account openings, closings, security administration and other maintenance requirements as needed. Prepare bank fee analysis across multiple banks. Assist in annual FBAR reporting. · Strategic Transaction Support: Enhance cash forecast accuracy, analyze intercompany settlements, and provide projections for repatriation transactions. · Intercompany Settlements and Loans: Manage intercompany payments and collaborate with finance teams across the globe. · Forecasting and Reporting: Provide short- and long-term cash forecasts and provide monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc summary reporting. · Debt Management: Forecast interest expenses, assist in credit line issuance and re-finance, and maintain credit line reports. Assist with covenant compliance documentation. · Foreign Exchange Exposure: Report FX exposure, manage foreign currency cash, and address balance sheet exposures. Support FX hedging program. · Audit Activities: Prepare financial documents for internal and external auditors. · M&A Support: Liaise with business development, legal and finance teams to ensure timely fund transfers, and assist in post-acquisition integrations. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise · Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. · 2-4 years of treasury or financial analysis experience. · Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills · Proficiency in Microsoft Office. · Effective communication and teamwork skills. · Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
