A Carter Lumber Treasury Analyst is responsible for daily banking, assisting in the management of the company’s credit card program, bank deposits and other corporate cash management. Effective communication with the field, internal departments and external vendors is mandatory for the success of this position.

Essential Functions:
Daily Banking
Pull daily banking for all consolidated and non-consolidated accounts for all locations, prepare cash movement file, address any discrepancies in tandem with Treasury team, other corporate office departments and field as needed, report relevant banking information within department and to other corporate office departments, compile and analyze information for daily cash reporting to Treasury Manager for Senior Management reporting.
Corporate Card Management
Assist Treasurer and Treasury Manager in corporate card program management, including but not limited to record keeping, conflict resolution, fraudulent transaction research and reporting, and collaborate with other departments within the company.
Check Deposits
Deposit checks received in department into local bank as needed and into company automated system, keep record of deposit, research and collaborate with other departments within the company, prepare journal entries as needed to record deposit in general ledger.
Petty Cash Management
Assist Treasury Manager with management of petty cash drawer and card balances, perform audits, reconcile audit findings to general ledger, direct field in compliance matters and keep company records
Accounting
General accounting functions include but are not limited to tasks such as prepare journal entries, reconcile and maintain various account schedules, maintain other accounting records and related tasks as part of the daily administration of the department such as bank reconciliations.
Other Administration Duties
Provide support to the department, other corporate office departments and as well as support to the field, as needed. Cross train within department, work in tandem with other Treasury Analyst on various projects and daily tasks. Other ad hoc projects as needed and directed by Treasury Manager. Other tasks to be added as department grows.
