Job Overview:

As a Treasury Analyst, you will play a vital role in analyzing and interpreting complex data to provide actionable insights that enhance processes and optimize outcomes. You will work closely with stakeholders across departments to gather critical information, communicate effectively with various audiences, and ensure the successful implementation of projects. Your expertise in data analysis and problem-solving will be essential in driving strategic initiatives and fostering continuous improvement within our organization. The Treasury Analyst is responsible for performing Sales Audit activities for the company’s 1000+ retail locations. This includes performing reconciliations, analyzing assigned accounts, and using independent judgment to resolve issues and propose enhancements to existing Sales Audit processes and procedures. Additionally, you will participate in daily cash management functions related to retail and e-commerce operations, assist in monitoring the company’s debt, and collaborate with multiple departments.

Responsibilities:

Perform Sales Audit activities, including monitoring and analyzing system edits, discrepancies, customer liabilities, cancellations, and more. Research and resolve any out-of-balance situations. Prepare related journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses of assigned accounts, utilizing independent judgment to address issues. Generate and analyze reports to support departmental compliance activities and data trending/analytical programs. Develop recommendations and project improvement proposals for management review. Participate in training Sales Audit-related functions for customer service and retail locations. Engage in special projects, including testing and validating system upgrades impacting the General Ledger (G/L), Point of Sale (POS), and banking systems. Provide daily support to customers, stores, and credit card vendors regarding billing discrepancies. Retrieve and process chargeback requests. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, document requirements, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Create detailed documentation such as business process diagrams, workflow charts, and system specifications to guide development and implementation efforts. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring clear communication throughout project lifecycles. Assess the feasibility of proposed solutions, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and evaluate potential impacts on business operations before implementation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Minimum of 1 year of sales audit or similar experience in retail, E-Commerce/Omni-channel, or a multi-location industry preferred; public company experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and MS Access, with the ability to navigate financial systems; experience with high-volume transaction matching tools (e.g., Alteryx) is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with various levels of management and internal/external groups. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to manage attention to detail while balancing competing priorities. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights that support decision-making and problem-solving. 1-3+ years of analytical experience, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industry. Ability to approach problems from different angles and think critically about the best solutions. Strong focus on accuracy and detail when documenting requirements and processes. Experience with Dynamics 365 is a plus.
