Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and consolidating daily cash positions across multiple banks in various jurisdictions, forecasting daily cash requirements for global operations, and analyzing credit card activity. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesReview and consolidate daily cash positions across multiple banks in various jurisdictions.Forecast daily cash requirements for global operations.Analyze credit card activity and process all electronic payments.Maintain bank account and cheque signatory listings.Prepare bank and other financial institution documentation for account opening and compliance.Act as an online bank account administrator and monitor user access.Track movement of major global transactions, including managing cash pooling/concentration arrangements.Support the Treasury team in implementing a Treasury Management System (TMS), including data input/migration and bank connectivity processes.Perform investment analysis, review holdings and their performance against benchmarks across multiple entities/geographies, and highlight any overlap in risk exposures.Digitalize the investment tracking and reporting process across multiple entities, and support the Treasury team in opening new investment accounts as needed.Review and analyze bank interest income and bank service charges to ensure alignment with agreed-upon agreements.Support the Treasury team in preparing internal presentations for various stakeholders.Evaluate FX exposures and track FX activity across multiple units, advising on natural offsets.Act as a back-up to the Treasury Manager and Treasury Analyst during their absence.Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency in treasury processes.Essential SkillsExperience in Treasury management, banking, and cash management.Proficiency in managing cash flows and online payments.Ability to handle journal entries, cash ledger transactions, general ledger journal entries, and bank requisites.Experience with month-end processing and day-to-day transactional work.Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and H&V lookups.University Undergraduate Degree in Business, Accounting, or Commerce.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Treasury system implementation.Strong financial modeling skills.Ability to work in a corporate treasury and transactional role.Work Environment
This position requires working 40 hours per week from 9 am to 5 pm, on-site in Toronto, Ontario. The work environment is business casual, and there is a possibility of overtime. The team size is small, with a close-knit group of 3 professionals.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
