Can you bring a drive and passion for all things finance to a new career as a Treasury Administrator at Pendragon in Nottinghamshire?

As part of our Group UK Corporate Finance function, you'll provide day-to-day support to the Treasury team who are responsible for central treasury activities including managing liquidity, foreign exchange, interest rate risks, intercompany financing, accounting, reporting, and administrative tasks.

This role requires an individual who is motivated and willing to learn, has strong attention to detail and an ability to work closely within a wider team.

You’ll have the opportunity to be involved with:

Responsibility for the set up and maintenance of users on various banking platforms, reviewing bank related correspondence and direct debit mandates ensuring they are dealt with accordingly, and dealing with ad-hoc user queries. Overseeing daily cash transactions and managing cash positions to ensure optimal liquidity for operational requirements, with responsibility for the daily download of bank transaction information. Setting up payments for authorisation and ensuring there is appropriate supporting documentation to enable approval by the relevant banking panel, and implementing and maintaining procedures for efficient cash management. Monitoring compliance with treasury policies such as system access levels and authorisation limits. Maintaining and updating when and where necessary, documentation relating to treasury policies and procedures. Establishing and maintaining relationships with administration teams at banks and other financial institutions to be able troubleshoot transaction and other issues in a timely and efficient manner. Coordinating with external auditors to provide necessary treasury documents and explanations for annual audits together with reviewing and confirming audit findings and implementing changes to treasury practice if necessary.

A basic understanding of accounting principles Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Strong organisational abilities and a methodical approach Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to address unexpected issues and find practical solutions
