Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, full-service with bar Traveling Multi-unit Restaurant Operations Manager!  

 

$90,000 - $100,000 / year Opportunity for quarterly bonus as well as year-end super bonus This position will work exclusively in airports and will travel 100% of working time Days and hours of work may vary and are dependent upon the hours mutually agreed upon with the manager. Generally, this role will work three (3) weeks back-to-back (6-day workweeks) with 5 consecutive days in his/her home location as needed (at least every three weeks) Must be relocatable  Must live near one of these major airports: JFK or LGA (New York), EWR (Newark, NJ), PHL (Philadelphia), or CLE (Cleveland)

 

The Traveling Restaurant Operations Manager – Task Force will be responsible for traveling to SSP America airports in the Northeast to assist or fill-in as the Restaurant Operations Manager.

 

The Traveling Restaurant Operations Manager – Task Force is responsible for managing all areas and aspects of the multi-unit restaurant operations within an airport, which may include an entire concourse, terminal(s), and/or food court(s), while establishing and maintaining guest service. Managerial tasks to include, but not limited to, training and retaining an excellent staff, delivering outstanding hospitality, food cost, labor cost, shared and/or direct P&L responsibility, running shifts, teaching and learning, sanitation, safety and cleanliness, while adhering to all company policies and procedures. This position will report directly to the Director of Airport Operations.

 

Skills and Requirements:

 

Minimum five (5) years of experience as a restaurant general manager in a full service restaurant with bar and a managed sales volume of $4M or greater. Minimum two (2) years of experience as a multi-unit restaurant manager with oversight of GMs in a full service restaurant w/ bar - managed sales volume of $15m or greater. Minimum of seven (7) years progressive experience in the food service industry.
