Traveling Coverage Merchandiser
Job Description

Summary:

Traveling Coverage Merchandisers are responsible for correctly and successfully completing all merchandising plans for a large service area of retail locations on a regular basis. This includes servicing stores as assigned on the scheduled date and reporting store visit(s) on the same day the work was completed. Plan tasks may include the following: resets, updates, cut-ins, audits, unit integrity updates, display and fixture set up, seasonal merchandising, stocking and replenishment, order placement, and basic, ongoing service of key accounts.

1 - 2 years of merchandising or retail experience is preferred Reliable access to a smartphone with Internet access Access to a personal email account and voicemail/answering machine system Ability to climb and stand on a ladder or step stool Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for long periods of time Willing and able to lift and carry up to 30 (thirty) pounds Access to reliable transportation Reside in the geographic area covered by assigned service area

What it requires:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk, use fingers to handle and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities this job requires include close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Travel requirements:

Travel within a specific service area, including 100 miles or more in a day and 500 miles or more a week to retail locations in a mix of rural and populated areas, is required. Travel to assist in other service areas, including overnight travel, may be required as dictated by business objectives. Overnight hotel stays will be booked in company provided accommodations; you will be required to share hotel accommodations with an employee of the same gender if traveling together.
