Our client a multinational organisation is searching for a Travel Consultant to handle all incoming calls for the Travel Insurance Helpdesk The Consultant must be skilled to sell Travel Insurance answer enquires handle complaints troubleshoot problems and be responsible to handle communication with clients and customers
Duties and Responsibilities
Fluent verbal communication in the English language and business writing skills are of prime importance for this position
Respond to daily calls emails and client communication
Manage calls and email queries to final resolution
Handle customer enquiries regarding Travel Insurance
Sell customers travel insurance
Promote excellent customer service
Research required information using available resources
Manage and resolve customer complaints where applicable
Provide customers with product and service information as required
Enter new customer information into system as required
Update existing customer information as required
Identify and escalate priority issues
For claim enquiries route calls to appropriate resource
Follow up customer calls where necessary
Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
Complete daily reporting requirements to standard operating procedures
Minimum Qualifications/ Experience
FAIS accredited
Matric
Travel insurance experience advantageous
Call Centre experience is critical
Excellent Data entry and Business Writing skills
Customer service principles and practices
Knowledge of call centre telephony and technology
Multi Languages will be a bonus
Salary Market related
