Travel & Expenses Analyst

The Travel & Expenses Analyst is responsible for processing of travel expenses to ensure timely and accurate payments while ensuring compliance. This is a new role within the organization. They assist employees with travel and expense-related queries, identify inefficiencies, participate in project implementations, contribute to process improvements, enforce quality control measures, and fostering collaboration.  

 

Key responsibilities & activities: 

 Processing of claims: Reviewing and validating employee-submitted expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations, including verifying receipts & documentationCorporate Credit Cards: Manage and oversee the use of corporate credit cards by employeesPolicy Compliance: Ensuring that employee expenses align with the company's travel and expense policies, including adherence to spending limits and allowable expensesSystem Data Entry: Entering expense data into the company's financial or ERP system for tracking, reporting, and reimbursement purposesCommunication with Employees: Communicating with employees to address questions, provide guidance on expense policies, and resolve discrepancies in submitted expense reportsRecordkeeping and Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of employee expenses, approvals, and reimbursement transactions for auditing and reporting purposesTraining and Support: Providing training and support to employees on the proper submission of time and expense reports, as well as the use of related systemsProcess Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of overall processes to improve efficiencyEducation: Bachelor Degree, majoring in Accounting, Finance or Business Experience (in years): At least 1 year of working experience in Finance SSC or BPO industryGood command of  oral and written EnglishExperienced in SAP is preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially at Excel and PowerPoint etc.Robust understanding of end-to-end T&E processes (including compliance) and related tool
