Who You Are:
Oversees the day-to-day administration of the company’s travel and business expense reimbursement program across Versar Global Solutions.
What You’ll Do:
Travel & ExpenseManage Travel & Expense (T&E) system including Audit Rules as well as administrative and maintenance tasksMaintain users in the T&E system, working in collaboration with the corporate credit card programFinal authority for all expense reporting submissions ensuring company policies and procedures is followed while making expense report audit decisionsResponsible for Internal and External communication regarding travelIdentify credit card payment delays and alerting users as neededInternal expert on the usage of the Travel & Expense system functionalityTrain new employees and conduct ongoing internal training on all the T&E processes and policies Serve as the main point of contact for all travel, expense and travel credit card questionsPartner with appropriate departments and personnel to revise and update travel policy as neededAccounts Payable Voucher entry – ensuring invoices are accurate and per purchasing documentsPayment processing – preparing weekly payment batches accurately and timely and ensuring all payments are in accordance with policies and proceduresMaintaining schedules to track and ensure monthly vendors are paid on time.Contacting vendors to obtain necessary documents needed to process invoices and payments, such as W9s, payment/bank details or other items.Reconciling and reviewing AP aging monthly, including following up to close any open AP invoices that are over a month old.Processing Concur batches and ensuring expenses are reimbursed in a timely matter.Assist with efficient and timely month end closing.Provide supporting documentation for audits.Updating, when necessary, vendor, merchant and/or vendor account information.Maintaining organized AP documentation and support records / files.Performs other duties as required.Lead by example

Associate’s degree in related field or High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with minimum of two years related accounting experience. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field desirable. 2-5 years of experience with payables operation.Deltek CostPoint experience is highly desirable along knowledge of automated workflow processing tools such as Hyland OnBase, Automate or brainwave. Working knowledge of Concur Travel & Expense Platform highly desirable.Knowledge of IRS vendor tax status rules and IRS form 1099 reporting and year-end filingGreat organizational skills and attention to detail.Proven problem-solving abilities and the ability to work effectively and accurately under pressure.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to manage multiple requests, assess priorities, and consistently achieve deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft office (i.e. excel, word and PowerPoint) and payroll applications.Seeking a strong collaborator with demonstrated ability to work successfully with cross functional teams.Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.Successful results of preemployment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.Comply with company drug and alcohol policy.Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate’s start date.Compensation
Expected Salary: $75,000 per year
