Position Summary:

The PI/ Data Coordinator works in collaboration with the Trauma Program manager for the coordination of Performance Improvement and Patient Safety. The PI coordinator facilitates efficient, effective and quality care for the patient population utilizing advanced education, mentoring and clinical skills. The coordinator participates in activities to identify and monitor patient outcomes, complications and deviations in established standards and policies. The PI coordinator will have trauma registry responsibilities in collaboration with the Trauma Data Specialist.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: RN required; BSN preferred

Required length and type of experience: 

A minimum of 3-5 years’ clinical experience Previous experience in caring for the patient population is preferred.  Previous experience with Performance Improvement/ Quality preferred

Required licensure, certification or registry:

Registered Nurse with current unencumbered license to practice in the state of Ohio.  Current appropriate certification preferred for the patient population (ex: BLS, ACLS, PALS, PCAR/TCAR,TNCC) Will obtain: AAAM AIS Course Certificate, Certificate from trauma registry course, & ICD 10 Course Certificate. (certificates to be obtained within 6 months of hire)
