Summary: 

Under general direction, manages and directs the day-to-day administration and scheduling for work order requests for vehicles for Pyramid Healthcare. Responsible for optimizing the reloadable bulk transportation network nationwide via communication with terminals, local dispatchers and third party logistics providers. Manage the Central Scheduling team members by establishing key performance metrics and ensure that each schedule is covered all admissions and discharge planned all drivers within their assigned region.

Shift:

Monday- Friday

7:00am - 3:00pm sometimes needing to stay till 4:00pm or 5:00pm

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Orientation, training and scheduling of drivers. Staff the Transportation Department, including the selection, orientation, training and scheduling of employees; supervise drivers Complete all required reports associated with the Transportation Department Receive transportation calls/inquiries. Attend meetings as required. Complete all required reports associated with the Transportation Department. Model appropriate driver skills to other drivers. Ability to respond to emergency situations. Ability to work alone. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. of force, if necessary. Other duties as assigned.

 

Education, Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. Experience preferred, but not required. Team player; confidentiality; safety; excellent communication skills; effective interpersonal relationships; calm and decisive in crisis situations.
