Transportation Recording Clerk II – Decatur, IL
This is a full-time, non-exempt level position.
 
Job Responsibilities:Process LTL and/or truckload invoices in various systems: Paper, EDI, Web, Maximo/CoupaResponsible for averaging freight payments within 15-30 daysMaintain working relationships with contracted carriersRun and review various error reports on a weekly basisManage incoming calls regarding open freight and past dues on accountsWork with various Business Units to resolve rate, invoicing, and system discrepanciesPrioritize daily work to keep carrier accounts within pay termsWork with GBS MDM team to confirm vendors are up to date and activeCollaborate with Truck Traffic and Logistics Coordinators to ensure loads meet system requirementsReview and add accessorials to Sugar, Oil, and Ethanol logs weeklyAddress emails and aging reports from carriers in a timely mannerSort and process incoming mailScan and save documentsAbove tasks must be completed as stated above. Duties are subject to change and list does not include all responsibilities.
 
Job Requirements:H.S. diploma or GED required plus minimum of 2 years equivalent general office/accounting experience preferredExcellent data entry, keyboard, multi-line telephone and ten key skillsBasic understanding of mathematical/accounting procedures is requiredAttention to detail and the ability to locate discrepancies are essential for this positionAbility to work independently as well as on a teamExcellent organizational and time-management skillsKnowledge of Maximo, OPGO, CICS, and IMS systems preferredProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is requiredExcited about this role but don’t meet every requirement listed?
