Job Description:
Professional services work involving transportation programming and support of Modal Directors within the Office of Freight and Business Logistics (OFT) which includes, railroads, ports and marine, aviation and trucking. Provide exceptional customer service and communication with internal and external partners. Manage State-owned railroad license and lease agreements, files and data, prepare new license agreements and manage creation of RE's, incoming payments, and their proper coding and deposit. Manage coding and timely payments of projects, working closely with Modal Directors and the Bureau of Finance and Administration using MaineDOT payment and management systems. Works with CPO and Modal Directors on timely contracting of consultants. Create RFP's and Requisitions in the State's Advantage system in support of OFT and partner needs, track receipt of purchased goods and materials, inspection and timely invoice payment. Coordinate with external partners including Maine State Police and Secretary of State’s Office to research and answer questions and provide needed information. Creation and management of files and data to support OFT’s projects and programs.
To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:
An eight (8) year combination of education, training, and/or experience in planning and program development with specific background in specialized field as necessary (i.e. transportation planning).
