The Dispatcher will be responsible for executing the dispatch process that supports our Intermodal railyard and Depot Terminal Operations. The position will work with the Customer, Intermodal, Depot Managers and other operational center personnel to make proactive recommendations and adjustments to facilitate the operation.

Works one on one with location driversDevelops daily dispatch plans, manage truck capacity needsEnsure all drivers are operating in a safe and efficient mannerWork as a liaison between our customer and the driverMust maintain accurate records and paperworkData Entry

Requirements

Dispatch experience with Company Drivers and Owner OperatorsElectronic dispatch experience preferredMust have exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through abilityStrong organization and multi-task skillsSolid communication and interpersonal skillsMust be familiar with dispatch, TMS and MS Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.)This position may require to work outside of normal business hours when required, including some holidays and maybe weekendsKnowledge of State and Federal DOT regulationsMinimum 1 year Intermodal experience
