Your Role

 

As a Transportation Coordinator this summer, you will leverage your organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation solutions for students attending EF’s summer schools and language campuses across the UK and Ireland.

 

Adaptability to new systems and a collaborative approach are key, as you will work closely with local suppliers, school teams, sales offices, and EF’s international head office in Switzerland to ensure a seamless and exceptional experience for our students.

 

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract position running from April 1 to August 31, 2025, with the possibility of extension or transition to permanent employment.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

Plan, consolidate, and book cost-effective transportation solutions for student arrivals and departures to/from our UK and Irish schoolsAct as a liaison for "Meet and Greet" staff at airports and assist with supplier-related queries, particularly during emergenciesBuild and maintain relationships with local suppliers across the UK and IrelandEnhance the customer experience for transportation and arrival servicesManage invoicing for transportation servicesFrom mid-June, manage emergency phone responsibilities on rota

 

 

Requirements

 

Exceptional attention to detailIntermediate or Advanced level of ExcelExperience in operations, ideally within a tour operator, coach operator, or educational settingStrong communication skills with an analytical and problem-solving mindsetAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentA self-starter with strong decision-making abilitiesClear DBS check and two referencesRight to work in the UK on commencement of employment
