Transportation Coordinator for Macon HealthCare Center

Macon Health CareCenter is looking for a Transportation Coordinator to join our team!  This fun job will give you the opportunity to meet interesting people and work with a group of dedicated to brightening the days of our passengers!  You will be setting up appointments, scheduling appointments, transporting residents to appointments, and other duties while maintaining strict client confidentiality.  

Requirements:
- Must have valid State Driver's License
-Must be able to pass a Chauffeur's license test and pass a background check
- Must be CPR/AED Certified ( We can help you get this)
- Must own a smart phone
- Must not have a physical impairment preventing the candidate from driving safely, or from performing the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to read, write, and converse in English
- Must be able to use a GPS/ Technology System, read, and understand road maps
- Must be able to lift and/or pull up to 50 pounds and the capability to assist passengers into and out of the vehicle; including pushing a loaded wheelchair up and down a ramp/ lift ,in to , or out of the vehicle
- Must be able to climb in and out of the vehicle
- Must be able to bend and reach to properly secure wheelchairs or stretchers inside the vehicle
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time depending on duration of transportation
