Hire Resolve’s client in the Transport Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Transport Supervisor to join their team in KwaZulu-Natal.

Responsibilities:

Planning of driver to make collections/delivery Ensuring that vehicle checklists are done and uploaded on our online system Planning vehicle maintenance schedule/service schedules – in line with customer demands Register collections/deliveries on the system, for invoicing purposes Ability to do mechanical inspections – to highlight any non-compliant vehicles Planning driver leaves / Training / License Renewals etc Monitor vehicle expenses – Fuel / Driver costs / Repairs etc.

Requirements:

Valid Driver License – Min Code 10 Knowledge of Dept of Transport requirements – for vehicles transporting goods Knowledge of Loading/Unloading requirements – Driver Safety Precautions Ability to communicate in English – Afrikaans will be an advantage People from previously disadvantaged ethnic groups will be an advantage Can be Male/Female

Benefits:

Salary: R250K/yr – R350K/yr, salary negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Training & Development Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable)
