Since 2012, Capita have been working in partnership with the British Army to deliver best in class recruitment services. The Recruiting Partnership Project (RPP) is responsible for attracting, sourcing, and selecting officers and soldiers for the Army (Regular and Reserve), meeting targets based around quantity, quality, and candidate experience.

The Transport Administrator is a key member of the Estates Team and the extended Business Performance Team. The role encompasses functional responsibilities for ensuring, alongside the Transport Manager, that Recruiting Group (RG) provides a best-in-class regional estates function fully satisfying internal and contractual requirements.

The role provides immediate and essential vehicle management and first line assurance to the RPP estates fleet. It requires strong communication and relationships with the teams and other supporting stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing:

Covering all administration duties and supporting the Transport ManagerEnsuring all drivers and documentation are compliantProviding advance notice for vehicle servicing and repairsUpdating the internal databaseProcessing transport requestsActioning all telephone and email correspondenceSupporting with the management of a nationwide fleet

What we’re looking for:

Previous administration experienceGood IT skills using Microsoft OfficeStrong attention to detailOrganised with a proactive approachUK Drivers licence, with flexibility to travel and confidence with driving a mixed fleet of vehiclesAbility to load and unload equipment from stores, as and when requiredExperience of MOD White fleet regulations, would be an advantage
