Overview This intermediate level position works under limited oversight to perform analysis, development, coordination, and operational oversight of complex activities related to transmission reliability and performance requirements. Individual works under close supervision on a variety of projects/assignments that have specific instructions and expected results. Responsibilities Position may be filled at the Transmission Reliability Analyst II, Sr, or Specialist level based on the successful candidate’s background, education, and experience. Additional responsibilities may be included for higher levels of the role. •Assists with gathering and analyzing transmission data from the asset management system, outage management system, PowerPlan financial system and other systems as needed to perform analysis. •Work with departmental leaders on process improvement efforts including acting as a resource for data extrapolation and analysis. •Provide analysis as requested in support of large projects, complex data analysis and business strategies. •Supports the development and maintenance of metrics, reports, and dashboards to track operational performance, financials, resource needs, and resource efficiency. •Represents the Company by communicating regularly with other internal departments as well as external organizations and agencies. •Identifies, plans, and implements operational solutions and best practices based on data analysis. •Develops and maintains various operational and regulatory databases. •Performs other duties as assigned •Complies with all policies and standards Qualifications Position may be filled at the Transmission Reliability Analyst II, Sr, or Specialist level based on the successful candidate’s background, education, and experience. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, business management, or other analytical discipline 3+ years transmission analyst professional experience. Experience with data analysis, programming languages and data processing techniques (e.g. using SQL, R, and SAS). Preferred Qualifications Ability to analyze and solve complex engineering and/or operational problems from a business perspective. Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal/written communication skills Knowledgeable of LKE work management, outage management, and financial management systems. Proficient in additional database and analysis software such as Microsoft Power BI, SharePoint, PowerPivot, R, Python, Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). #LG&EKU #INDLGE
