The Transitions Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple complex projects from inception to completion. This role requires strategic planning, stakeholder management, and ensuring that all projects meet scope, timeline, and budget requirements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Transitions Management:**
+ Transition end-to-end delivery, work with business unit and stakeholders ensuring the success of Transitions.
+ Effective governance on asset deployment and technology access provisioning.
+ Transitions Governance reporting and accountable and responsible for the Overall Transition/Project plan.
+ **Project Planning and Management:**
+ Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and milestones.
+ Ensure all activities align with project strategy and goals.
+ Coordinate efforts across various teams to maintain progress and quality.
+ Direct full project lifecycle management of large-scale projects.
+ Create comprehensive deployment plans and document project lessons learned.
+ **Team Leadership and Coordination:**
+ Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and communicative environment.
+ Organize regular meetings to address concerns and provide feedback.
+ Clarify roles and responsibilities to ensure cohesive and efficient teamwork.
+ Mentor staff in Agile methodologies and best practices in project management to enhance project delivery.
+ **Stakeholder Management:**
+ Engage with senior stakeholders to provide strategic updates and gather feedback.
+ Identify and mitigate significant risks.
+ Ensure all deliverables meet rigorous quality standards.
+ Lead and provide guidance to Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
+ **Risk Management:**
+ Continuously monitor and adjust project plans to mitigate risks.
+ Implement robust error-handling protocols.
+ **Communication:**
+ Provide regular project updates to clients and stakeholders.
+ Ensure transparent and effective communication across all project phases.
+ Provide clear communication to internal and external stakeholders on project status.
+ Provide teams with clear understanding of responsibilities, accountabilities and growth plan by communicating and managing work assignments, training, and performance appraisals.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, Finance/Accounting or a related field.
+ PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
+ Extensive experience in project management, with a proven track record of managing multiple high-priority projects.
+ Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
+ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
**Skills:**
+ Exceptional project management skills with PMP certification beneficial.
+ At least 7 years of project management experience, including program management.
+ Experience with waterfall and other project management methodologies.
+ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
+ Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
+ Proficiency in project management software and tools.
+ Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
