JOB SUMMARY
To provide the appropriate level of pharmaceutical care services to patients, while complying with all state and federal laws/rules governing the practice of pharmacy. To facilitate the successful admission and/or discharge of patients to/from home or other facilities, specifically with regard to medications. To supervise any delegated act performed by pharmacy technicians or pharmacy technician trainees.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
BS in Pharmacy or PharmD
Minimum Work Experience
No previous experience
Required Licenses/Certifications
Active license as registered pharmacist in the state of Texas
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Ability to effectively direct and/or supervise personnel as appropriate.
Ability to handle confidential information
Ability to maintain professional appearance and decorum at all times.
Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
