Transformation Portfolio Manager, North America

The Transformation Portfolio Manager is responsible end-to-end portfolio management, integrated communication, strategic partners/vendors collaboration, and resource management for all programs/initiatives under the ambit of North America Transformation. 

Portfolio Management & Integrated Communication:

Support and improve portfolio frameworks, methodologies, and activities (e.g., Bootcamps, Quarterly Business Reviews, Quarterly Release Planning, Scrum of Scrums) to ensure alignment with related portfolios/programs (Technology, Claims, Data, Underwriting) Monitor and track the portfolio's performance against established goals/metrics, including cost benefit analysis tracking and capacity modeling. Govern integrated communication for the portfolio, including presentations, reporting, and progress updates at different organizational levels.

Strategic Partners/Vendors Collaboration:

Serve as a main point of contact for collaborating with strategic partners/vendors for capabilities consumption at the domain/squad level. Coordinate roadmaps for aligning with vendors' capabilities, develop integrated execution plans, create test data, and coordinate bi-directional testing. Manage the lifecycle of Statements of Work (SOWs) to invoicing, including collaboration with Finance, Procurement, and other relevant areas.

Resource Management:

Oversee and track allocation of resources across the portfolio to optimize capacity and utilization. Collaborate with business leaders to identify and address resource constraints. Promote proactive resource planning and share best practices across the portfolio. Lead training and onboarding for new squads and individual resources in partnership with transformation leadership. Degree qualified in business management or a related discipline and qualification in technology 5+ years work experience in leading large and complex programs with evidence of transformation/change management experience in either a project or operations environment Experience in the insurance industry or relevant consulting experience is preferred. Insurance project experience and knowledge of the general insurance business model, broker platforms and underwriting/claims operations is an advantage for this position Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving, solution development, continuous improvement, and relationship building Experience participating in large-scale change projects with aggressive timelines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – work with sets of data to extract meaningful information Proven cross-functional, cross-regional and/or cross-organizational relationship-building skills  Strong consultative and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups Ability to work independently; comfortable with loosely defined tasks or ambiguity   Results-oriented and adaptable Very strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, ability to see through the data and tell the story Strong organization and time management skills Excellent oral and written communication skills 

Work Location – Philadelphia, Jersey City, New York

Travel – 10-25%

The pay range for the role is $117,000 to $189,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
