Role: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of the Operational Excellence team at Mitie, you will lead transformational change by spearheading initiatives that enhance performance across one of the largest divisions, aiming to meet strategic goals and achieve substantial annual cost savings of around £1 million. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to implement Operational Excellence principles, develop high-impact projects, and establish a champions network to promote best practices. Your role will also involve training and certifying Yellow and Green Belts, aligning the Operational Excellence strategy with Annual Operating Plans for long-term success. By leveraging AI and data analytics, you'll identify opportunities for early intervention and guide teams in effective project management, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables while fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

What We're Looking For:

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification with substantial years' experience in Black Belt Extensive experience implementing Operational Excellence tools and principles in various business contexts; experience in an outsourced service environment is a plus. Continuous Improvement and change management experience essential Proof of successfully implementing significant cost-saving initiatives within a business is essential Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders. Adaptability to changing priorities and the capacity to juggle multiple projects effectively. Proven track record of thriving in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. Experience working in a matrix organisation across multiple locations and capabilities. Experience in a FM environment or large corporate business
