The Transformation Analytics Sr. Specialist (EB Focus) works with a team of Analytics Specialist for implementation of agency management system conversions from their original source system to the new platform. Will work under the direction of the Transformation Analytics Manager and with Implementation Manager, Implementation Specialist, Agency Operations Lead, Agency Management vendors, 3rd party vendors, and AssuredPartners Project Managers to ensure a successful conversion process.
What You'll Do
Work with the Transformation Analytics Manager, Implementation Specialist, Project Manager, Vendor, Accounting, IT Departments, Training, and 3rd party systems as applicable to convert AssuredPartners Agency Management System data successfully and efficiently into the new source system.Collaborate with and assist agency employees before, during, and after conversion to maximize data integration and integrity. Assists with developing and maintaining conversion templates and instructions for each type of agency management system conversion as well as 3rd party systems to promote efficiencies in future conversions.Responsible for manual conversions as assigned by Transformation Analytics Manager.Ensure manual import templates are prepared for import. Work with Agency Management System vendor on importing issues.Collaborate with the implementation team on agency validations of data samples delivered pre go live.Assist Transformation Analytics Manager with training of Analytics team on manual conversions.Mentor members of team with full conversion task, preparing data cleanup, validation, and mapping templates, as applicable.Collaborate with implementation specialist and project manager in pre conversion discovery and workflow sessions.Work with IT department on special projects as assigned by the Transformation Analytics ManagerCoordinate with the SVP of Operating Systems, Implementation Manager, Project Manager and Training Manager for upcoming conversions and determine if a full conversion or a manual conversion is more appropriate; each office could have different nuances to address that need to be understood.Can execute either “full conversions”, meaning having the source systems as well as vendor involved who will do the data merge, as well as “manual conversions”, meaning the AssuredPartners team will help coordinate and plan with the local office on manual data entry. The use of templates, 3rd party assistance, download, and/or local resources are considered. Execute any data extractions to a 3rd party, in the event of a book sale, for example.Ensure all deadlines of the conversion team are met and satisfied that are set by the Agency Management System Vendor and/or Management.Communicate with all partners respectfully and tactfully valuing everyone opinionsDemonstrates proficient knowledge in Agency Management System Reports, Configuration, and Microsoft Excel. Acts as a resource to management, production, and service staff when report needs arise.

A.) from four-year college or university and/or at least 5 years insurance experience; Insurance data conversion experience preferred.Minimum of 5 years knowledge of Agency Management System software, preferably with Applied and Vertafore products.Minimum of 5 years of data conversion experience, proficiency in various Microsoft applications, Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and understanding of database concepts and software. Ability to write basic SQL queries preferred.
Valid Insurance License preferred.Working weekends will be occasionally required to assist with conversion weekend go live tasks, especially depending upon the complexity of the conversion. Go Live weekend work consists of some Friday night work (2-3 hours) and Saturday morning/early afternoon. Usually 4-5 hours. If there are conversion issues, work is required until issues are resolved. The weekend work is in addition to the 40 hour work week. Flex time will be provided for the additional hours worked.Travel is required for pre and post conversion meetings as applicable.
