Schedule: Tues-Sat, 7:00am-5:00pm, 40-50 hours per week.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY:
The Utility position is the first point of contact for trucks coming onto our site, directing traffic and ensuring a safe working environment. This is a demanding role that requires focus while working outside in the elements.
Pressure washing carts and garbage trucksSite cleanup/ litter pick-upHelping and interacting with customersCustomer ServiceCovering Scale house as needed for breaks or calloutsTaking paymentsManual labor including landscaping/ weed eatingGreet and direct customers upon entry to transfer stationCalculate payments for customersInput weight information into system for customer paymentsEnsure incoming garbage loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate materialApproaching all encounters with employees, customers, and vendors in a friendly, service-oriented mannerVarious other utility tasks as neededSpecific duties can change on the daily basis as operation needs changePOSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a valid Driver’s license and good driving record. At least 2 years of work experience. Preferably in a labor type position.Experience operating equipment is a plusAbility to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shiftMechanical ability a plus.The ability to continually lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout an 8-10 hr. shift.WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Exposed to different weather year round.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Extensive physical activity.
