Transfer Pricing Manager

Emerson designs and manufactures products and delivers services that bring technology and engineering together to provide innovative solutions. This is a complex international business with many inter-related entities. Emerson is looking to add a Transfer Pricing Manager to our rapidly growing tax strategy and planning team. This role will support the transfer pricing matters of Emerson’s expansive international functions. This position offers an opportunity to join a growing tax team and make an immediate impact.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Identify, assess, implement, monitor, and maintain global transfer pricing policies. Manage outside advisors and collaborate with internal global tax teams to implement global transfer pricing documentation, including Masterfile and local files. Perform transfer pricing analysis and documentation of related-party transactions, including collection and analysis of segmented operating statements and preparation of internal comparable data. Provide transfer pricing technical guidance to finance teams to set up transfer pricing calculation methodologies; monitor the global establishment of new entities, structures, and business lines; and provide transfer pricing support on new business models. Collaborate with tax reporting teams on the transfer pricing aspects of tax provision and reporting, including ASC 740/FIN48 analysis and documentation, intercompany calculation review, and financial forecasts of transfer pricing adjustments. Collaborate with the tax controversy team and outside advisors to manage transfer pricing audits by preparing analysis and responses to information requests by tax authorities. Implement further automation of processes and data analytics for operational transfer pricing and tax provision review using Power Query, Power BI, SharePoint, and other Microsoft applications. Assist acquired entities with adoption of Emerson’s transfer pricing policies.  Stay informed of legislative transfer pricing developments and model the impact of changes on Emerson’s transfer pricing structure. You acquire data from multiple and diverse sources when solving problems.   For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s in Accounting Requires CPA, JD or Advanced degree in economics Requires 6+ years of transfer pricing experience Requires 2+ years of public accounting firm experience Must be self-starter and able to work independently while handling multiple tasks  Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this role.  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Strong PC skills necessary, especially in Microsoft Excel and suite of products. OneSource Tax Provision experience desired Interpersonal and communication skills a must to interact professionally with all levels of management and personnel, both domestically and internationally.  Our Offer To You:
