Job DescriptionStandard New York, Inc. seeks a Global Transaction Banker in New York, NY, to achieve Transaction Banking client revenue growth and new deal performance objectives in line with dedicated sales territory. The role entails the following aspects :
Independently developing cross border corporate trade business and sales opportunity pipeline with assigned accounts to leverage the flow of goods and services between the US and Africa.Independently manage defined sales territory to ensure complete client satisfaction and retention of existing TPS business.Develop a comprehensive understanding of each client’s operational requirements across Africa to leverage the bank’s solution capabilities in order to address their treasury objectives for each market. Drive end-to-end development and execution of Cash Management & Trade Finance solutions for targeted clients.Provide effective advocacy by escalating all TPS client issues raised. Responsive support to all clients experiencing frustration or difficulty with the bank’s operational execution and existing support model to encourage cross-sell opportunities.Ensure assigned territory client expectations are met or exceeded by utilizing stakeholder network across the bank.Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation
Experience Required
8 years’ experience in providing cash and Treasury Management products and client transactional requirements, designed to provide offering solutions to meet multinational banking needs across Sub Saharan Africa markets; utilizing experience with banking processes, regulatory nuances and transaction banking product and systems capabilities in 20 African countries in the Sub Saharan region to assist US Multinational clients in navigating the complex Africa banking landscape;8 years working with Central bank regulations across Sub-Saharan African markets and systems in each market, including guiding and solutioning financial transactional offerings to achieve client operational and financial directives; providing clients with scoping sessions to scope operational requirements in local African markets to enable optimal account structure; enabling sweeping and cash pooling capabilities in African markets in compliance with Central bank regulations to assist clients with ability to maximize cash efficiencies;Experience in developing cross border documentary and non-documentary trade solutions for US clients addressing counter party and market risks including developing supply chain finance solutions to mitigate risk, reduce cost and support environmental and social initiatives.In the alternative, the employer will accept two (2) years of experience in the financial services field as meeting the degree requirement.30% travel would be required internationally and nationallyAdditional Information
