Transaction Specialist Job ID 170116 Posted 04-Jun-2024 Service line Advisory Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Transaction Management Location(s) McLean - Virginia - United States of America **About the role** The Transaction Specialist will provide analysis and support for transactions, including purchases, dispositions, entitlements, and right-of-way and easement discussions. Prepares, monitors, and reports monthly on the progress of lease terminations, rent commencements, rent increases, lease renewals, and lease options. Reviews and abstracts leases. **What you’ll do** + Assists in defining the real estate requirements (e.g., reviews growth projections, evaluates overall business strategy, handles critical dates). + Prioritizes and supports Corporate Real Estate system involving tracking lease information, property values, capital expenditures, rental rates, and real estate assignments. + Assists with or runs local transaction implementation (process standardization). + Facilitates closeout process including hand off to lease administration team. + Provides transactional financial analysis support to the Transaction Management team, including cash flow analysis. + Participates in various real estate transactions including lease communication and administration. + Coordinates our growing quality assurance program, including customer care surveys, key performance indicators, and transaction scorecards. + Supports the development, production and maintenance of playbooks. **What you’ll need** + Bachelor's degree preferred. In lieu of a degree a combination of education and experience will be considered. + 1 to 3 years related commercial real estate transactions or related experience desired. + Real estate license preferred but not required. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. + Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Conducts sophisticated financial analysis. + Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires analytical and quantitative skills. + Excellent skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
