The Tram Operator/Driver safely transports guests and employees in designated areas on property.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include

Safely operates Guest and Employee Trams on and near the Fantasy Springs Resort and Casino. Maintains trams in a clean and litter free condition Reports any mechanical problems to appropriate persons and fills out required paperwork. Completes a Driver Safety program for operation of vehicles Follows all property procedures and regulations. Sets the standard for adherence to 10-5 rule Assist Bellstand as needed or called upon. Maintains communication with PBX and Property via proper use of Radios/Phones Other Duties as assigned.

To perform this job successfully, the Tram Operator must be able to perform each individual job duty satisfactorily. 

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; or one to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The Tram Operator must be competent in oral and written communication and reading comprehension using the English language; bi-lingual ability in Spanish is a plus. The Tram Operator must communicate in a professional and appropriate manner with personal while in person or via radio/phone.

Driving Record – Must prove and maintain a good driving record and posses a valid California Drivers License. Task management – Must be able to handle multiple tasks of varying priority and deadlines simultaneously. Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals. Ethics – The Tram Operator must honor all applicable laws regarding discrimination prohibitions, such as but not limited to discriminations based on race, gender, sexual preference, age, nationality and creed. Organizational Support – Follows policies and procedures of the organization. Performs job functions in a manner consistent with organizations goals and values. Dependability – Follows instructions, responds to management direction. May be required to work overtime as needed.  Arrives at work and appointments consistently and on time. Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent. Self Presentation – Must be able to follow all property policies in regards to grooming and uniform standards. Maintains uniform in a clean and crisp presentation. Maintains name tag and displays it properly while at work. Physical Demands – The Tram Operator is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel, as well as speak and hear. Employee may be required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. 

Work Environment

Employees working the Casino or Bowling Center may be exposed to second-hand smoke and moderate levels of noise.
