**Job Description**
Provide complex technical support and training to customers and assisting Field Service Technicians, Sales Representatives via email, phone, in person, videoconference or other methods. Focusing on training, supporting, and interfacing Teledyne ISCO and Teledyne Cetac Automation products to OEM products, such as ICP/ICP-MS. This position’s home office would be at ISCO in Lincoln, NE.
**Training Duties and Responsibilities**
Create and present training materials to groups, work with customers and dealers to ensure competency in install, setup, troubleshooting, and repair is achieved.
+ Create service power points from basic templates
+ Create supplemental information needed for training including tech notes, service bulletins, service manuals and videos.
+ Present service information to large and small groups remotely and in-person
+ Setup and host video conference training
+ Organize and setup onsite domestic and international training
**Repair Duties Responsibilities**
Troubleshoot, repair, perform installations, and PM
+ Inhouse and field repairs
+ Excellent technical and troubleshooting skills
+ Interpret and work from complex electromechanical blueprints, schematics, drawings and work instructions.
+ Perform set-up and analytical tests on Teledyne Cetac Automation to various instruments, such as ICP/ICP-MS
+ Interpret and record analytical data from testing
+ Installation of instrumentation in various laboratory environments
**Technical Support Duties**
Answer basic application and detailed service-related questions for ISCO and Cetac systems
+ Document Service requests from Customers,
+ RMAs
+ Service Quotes
+ Repair part orders
+ Service Work Orders
Provide exceptional customer service
+ Provide exceptional customer service
+ Excellent Remote technical and troubleshooting skills
+ Respond to customer inquiries regarding delivery literature requests, etc. ensuring customer satisfaction
+ Creates and edits user manuals, checklists, troubleshooting guides, etc.
+ Quality Metrics
+ Responsible for achieving technical supports quality and productivity measurements
+ Participate actively in the quality process including [project team involvement, problem solving, corrective and preventative actions and recommending solutions to enhance and improve the quality of departmental and/or company-wide business activities.
**Travel**
+ Estimated 50% travel
+ Domestic and International
+ Travel on short notice at times
**General**
+ Knowledge of ICP/ICP-MS
+ Self-motivated, enthusiastic attitude with initiative, and flexible
+ Ability to work independently, as well as being a team member
+ Lift 35-55lbs if needed.
+ Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
+ Capable of following safety procedures in the use and handling of flammable and hazardous chemicals required to meet all cleanliness specifications.
+ Drivers license required
+ Knowledge of basic laboratory processes
+ Ability to work safely
+ Maintain a safe work environment
+ Ability to read, understand and act on Safety documentation
+ Strong knowledge of computers, basic networking and internet searching.
+ Perform other duties as deemed necessary by management.
Education and/or Experience:
+ Associates Degree or three to five years related laboratory or equivalent combination of education and experience.
