Continuous Improvement Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to organize technical training programs for internal and external customers related to products, systems, and/or technologies in accordance with con-tract(s) and budget. Each day, you will manage and audit training delivery using correct products and materials. You will also showcase your expertise by assisting in identifying / determining ap-propriate training courses for customers.The work model for the role is: #LI - OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Motion/NEMA Motors Division in our Flowery Branch, GA facility. Main stakeholders are both our internal and external customers.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tPreparing training materials and equipment needed for new product training(s) and refining job descriptions and skills inventories for job classifications.•\tProviding relevant internal resources with all documents needed for invoicing and supporting manufacturing engineering in updating and developing work instructions as needed.•\tScheduling training sessions, ensuring facility setup, audiovisual setup and employee notification, and instructing on core training requirements as assigned.•\tMaintaining and managing training database, coordinating orientation activities for new hires as it relates to training and skill certifications, conducting bi-annual training needs assessment for facility. documenting best practices across the plant, and conducting internal audits of employee training conformance
Qualifications for the role\tAssociate or bachelor’s degree in education/business, related field preferred or equivalent from manufacturing, military or business experiences. Those who meet all other require-ments with demonstrated experience in the field will be considered.\tA minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of tech-nical and/or industrial practices.\tMS Office required, proficient with SAP preferred.\tExperience in secondary or adult education a plus. \tAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, policies, instructions, or government regulations.\tAbility to write reports and business correspondence; author and present information to individuals and to large groups
