**Position Overview** The Training Supervisor will own the new hire experience and play a key role in establishing a culture of growth and development for all nonexempt, newly hired warehouse employees. This role will be fully dedicated to warehouse Training and will lead, coach, and develop a team of full-time and temp Trainers and Trainees. The Training Supervisor will be required to plan, organize & oversee new employee training programs as well as maintaining a safe and productive learning environment that drives established KPIs. **Job Description** **Description** Shift - First Shift 6am to 4:30pm + Partner with Manager to hire, develop and retain a team of Trainers and make hiring recommendations for Trainees. + Conduct frequent floor observations and coach Trainers on how to enhance individual and team performance to achieve company initiatives. + Effectively lead, assess, and participate in the design, development, and implementation of new training programs for nonexempt employees. + Use appropriate performance management techniques to address performance gaps and take corrective action, as needed, to ensure Trainers and Trainees are delivering on KPIs. + Ensure all new hires receive and understand corporate delivered materials and information intended for a successful orientation and training of new associates. + Assess business conditions and take action to address opportunities to improve training and safety. + Provide regular updates to the Field Training Team to ensure alignment to and proper execution of organization wide Training initiatives. + Drive employee engagement in local and corporate activities that create a Training Experience aligned with the C&S Values and Purpose. + As a member of the leadership team, prepare action plans, formulate, and present training metrics that assess the impact of employee coaching, development, and training. **Environment** + Warehouse : Freezer (-20F to 0F) + Warehouse : Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F) + Warehouse : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F) **Skills** + Specialized Knowledge : + Special Skills : People management, dependable, and deadline oriented. + Physical abilities: : Safely and efficiently move merchandise weighing up to 60lbs., stand/walk for up to 10-12 hrs. + Other: : **Years Of Experience** + 3-5 years of experience in retail operations, distribution, transportation, logistics, and supply chain management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. + 3-5 years of prior experience as a warehouse trainer; Experience as a warehouse training or operations supervisor is highly desired. + 3-5 years of previous experience delivering training materials and programs. **Qualifications** Associate Degree - General Studies, Bachelor's Degree - General Studies, General Equivalency Diploma - General Studies, High School Diploma - General Studies **Shift** 1st Shift (United States of America) **Company** C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC **About Our Company** C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is an industry leader in supply chain solutions and wholesale grocery supply in the United States.
