The company was formed in October 2018 through a combination of Post Holdings’ private brands businesses and is owned by Post Holdings and funds affiliated with Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P. (“THL”), a private equity firm. Responsibilities Position Summary The Training Specialist is responsible for formulating training outlines and “one point” lessons utilizing the specialized knowledge of specific training needs and effectiveness of such methods. Duties and Responsibilities The Training Specialist is responsible for all things pertaining to Training. It is the responsibility of all 8th Avenue employees to ensure product safety, legality, and quality requirements are met. Review confirmation with Supervisor to assure correct information is being issued. Review and maintain Alchemy training records which will drive employee monthly training. Ensures onboarding Production training is conducted and continuously improved. Ensures Red Zone training is conducted during onboarding sessions, and continuously improved. Create, develop and implement new training as needed to support GMP’s. Assist Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager with investigating and recommending training for process improvements. Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with both employees and Supervisors. Researching and mastering the newest and innovative training methods. **Education and Experience Required:** Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution **Physical Requirements:** Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation: Must be able to climb on and off a ladder for 3+ hours per shift. Must be able to work in a dusty, high heat/humid environment for 3+ hours per shift. Must be able to work in a confined space for 3+ hours per shift. Must be able to lift up-to 100 pounds for 3+ hours per shift with team member assistance. Must be able to push, pull, simple grasping, 3+ hours per shift. Must be able to perform fine manipulation and feel for 6+ hours per shift. Must be able to balance, bend, crouch, stoop and kneel for 3+ hours per shift. Must be able to lift up-to 34 pounds independently for 6+ hours per shift. Must be able to reach above shoulders for 3+ hours per shift. Must be able to operate foot pedals for 6+ hours per shift. Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for 6+ hours per shift. Must be able to express or exchange ideas by means of spoken or written word and be able to make fine distinctions in sound.
