Training Program Manager

Reports to the WTCC Training Manager and is fully responsible for all program activities for Plant Management Training, including development and maintenance of training materials to support safe and compliant operations of systems and facilities. Ensures work executed by Training staff is in accordance with Conduct of Operations and other applicable project procedures in accordance with policies and all applicable laws, regulations, Contract, Authorization Basis, and technical requirements.
**This position shall be performed under the day-to-day direction, control, and supervision of WTCC**
**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS**
+ Support the Waste Treatment Plant Nuclear Safety Quality Culture by emphasizing the values of safety and quality in the performance of work in order to protect self, others, and the environment
+ Manage Plant Management Training functions and personnel
+ Manage facility training process activities including:
+ Developing training – task analysis, training requirements identification, course design, course development, quality verification, course review and approval
+ Creating and maintaining training material - review and incorporate revisions, lessons learned, operating experience
+ Conducting training and qualification activities– classroom, on-the-job training, scheduling, examinations, qualification program
+ Manage the development and implementation of Simulator Training
+ Coordinate and communication between the Training organization, Plant Management, and other support groups to ensure completion of training scope
+ Perform observations and assessments to ensure training activities are conducted safely in a compliant manner
+ Review plant modifications and design changes for impact on training programs
+ Ensure and maintain compliance with DOE Order 426.2, Personnel Selection, Training, Qualification, and Certification Requirements for DOE Nuclear Facilities
+ Other duties as assigned

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Manage WTCC Plant Management Training functions and personnel
+ Establish performance standards for WTCC Plant Management Training personnel
+ Set priorities and goals to ensure efficient use of resources
+ Select, train and qualify training personnel
**Education/Experience:**
Bachelor’s degree with courses (included in coursework for Bachelor’s degree or obtained from additional training/classes) in education or training that focus on instructional analysis, design, development, delivery and testing as well as evaluation of training programs, or technical procedure development.10 years technical plant operations experience. 5 years of supervisory experience. Experience will also include technical training development/implementation.
Preferred candidates will have experience in Naval Nuclear, Department of Energy Nuclear, or Commercial Nuclear Operations.
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
(EFNM) Exposed Field Non-Manual
Performs desk work, including writing, computer workstation processes, and telephone operation. Arranges for and/or performs presentations, oral reports, planning meetings, and other formal and informal contacts, requiring long periods of sitting. Oversees field activities through inspections, testing and equipment operations, which requires walking, standing, bending, and turning along with wearing of personal protective equipment. Occasional loading, transport, and unloading of tools and/or supplies specific to an activity.
**This position is located at the Construction Site (22 miles north of Richland) and works a 4 x 10 schedule, M-Th, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.**
**Must be able to work in the United States without Sponsorship**
**Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy (DOE) badge for access to the Hanford site** .
**COMPENSATION & BENEFITS**
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $146,128.82 - $238,179.18 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
