ResponsibilitiesThe Training and Development Support Specialist is responsible for designing and scheduling training for all new hires. They will work closely with ELT, SLT, hiring managers, and others involved in employee development to support Aspire associates training from new hire and beyond. T&D Support Specialist will maintain files, forms, and training documentation, as well as subject to changing priorities.
Specific Duties
Coordinating, consulting, designing, and scheduling of training for all Aspire associatesAssign individualized beneficial training according to job requirementsServes as point of contact for new hires and hiring managers before, during, and after the trainingCollaborates with team members and department leaders to develop and manage all aspects of training development.Evaluate, monitor, and recommend improvements to current processes and workflows to gain efficiencies for new hire onboarding.Scheduling/Moderating/Recording “Special UW Training Sessions” Maintains training documentation including records of attendance, completion, and program materials Form creation/formatting for Guidewire and other system updates as neededGuidewire Training/Access Point serving as SMEMaintain Master Underwriting Team Territory spreadsheet and coordinating changes in the systemMaintain document files in Teams/SharepointAssist with associate’s professional development planning
May perform other functions as assigned.
Qualifications Associate’s degree and minimum 3 plus years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.Minimum of three years of experience and/or training in insurance along with basic knowledge of insurance.Must have strong customer service background in a professional environment.Strong organizational skills with the ability to respond with a sense of urgency.Entrepreneurial qualities, such as trying innovative solutions, resiliency to change and recognizing what is most important to get done.
